By far the most challenging knitting I have done. Loved it after the 1st 20 rows!


Gift #6 - Little Girl Mittens
Knitted with Cascade 220 -100% Peruvian Wool
Please don't hate me because I am doing cables, I promise never to make a sweater with cables, only little sweet girl mittens. Perfect for Snowboarding 8 year olds.

Take this seriously.

If you love to knit, if you love your nieces and nephews, if you hate shopping, but love to give to your said nieces an nephews. It would appear that knitting would be your salvation. Think again! In the middle of November, when I began to think about Christmas Gifts, my idea was to knit something for everyone. This is what the list would entail:

13 - pairs of mittens (6 felted/7 unfelted)

7 - shruggy scarfy things

1 - lace work scarf

1 - pair of mens very long socks

1 dozen ornaments

Somewhere along the line I lost track of just how long this would take. If you need me at 1:00am, call, I'll be up KNITTING!!!!

Call me crazy but I have decided to knit all my Christmas Gifts this year. I will be posting photos of the completed items tomorrow. If my hand will only stop cramping.

A Cry Out for Help - to Jill

Update: Saturday was Emileigh's 1st big high school dance. I was invited to help out with hair and other very important things for the big night.

Doesn't she just look darling? The child is too pretty.
